Elizabeth Interiors was established December 1979 on Elizabeth Street, less than 100 yards from its current location across from Burlington City Hall.

Initially less than 800 sq. ft. the current location consists of four separate buildings consisting of 30,000 sq. ft. (1city block), and reflecting a variety of complex and interesting surroundings.

Haswell Furniture, Izzard’s Pharmacy & Soda, Joe Fink Barber Shop and Pee Wee Pizza were a few of the original tentants. Left behind was a distinctive architecture from high tin ceilings to open brick walls that ooze with a sense of presence and history.

Elizabeth, owner of Elizabeth Interiors, comes from a 2nd generation furniture retailer, Peggy Law, who operated a prominent and very successful furniture store in Toronto in the late 1960’s.
