Located in Port Carling and accessible by land or boat, Liz @ The Lake is a curated home and lifestyle store inspired by cottage living. We offer thoughtfully selected furniture, decor, and accessories that feel relaxed, elevated, and perfectly suited for life at the lake.

We’re looking for friendly, confident, and customer-focused Sales Associates to join us for the summer season and help create a warm, memorable shopping experience for locals, cottagers, and visitors alike.

We are now seeking an experienced, talented and passionate Interior Design Professional (accredited Interior Designer, Interior Design Consultant or Interior Decorator) to join our dynamic team and further enhance our client's design journey.

Position Overview:

As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Liz @ The Lake. You’ll welcome customers into the space, help them find pieces they love, and ensure the store feels beautiful, organized, and inviting throughout the season.

This role is ideal for someone who loves people, appreciates good design, and thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing exceptional, personable customer service
• Assisting customers with furniture, decor, and accessory selections
• Supporting sales transactions and daily store operations
• Maintaining the visual presentation of the showroom
• Helping create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that reflects lakeside living

What We’re Looking For:

• Retail or sales experience (home, lifestyle, fashion, or specialty retail preferred)
• A confident, friendly communicator who enjoys working with people
• Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• An appreciation for interiors, decor, or cottage lifestyle (formal design training not required)

The Details:

• Seasonal position for Summer 2026
• Part-time and/or full-time hours available, depending on availability
• Based in Port Carling, Ontario
• Opportunity to continue with our city locations following the summer, based on fit and availability
