How to: Design a Cozy and Stylish Sunroom - Two Unique Approaches

Sunrooms are where indoor comfort meets outdoor charm — light-filled, mood-lifting, and endlessly versatile. Today, we're opening the doors to two of our favourite spaces, each with its own distinct style and story. One's breezy and bright, the other moody and magnetic — both designed to be lived in and loved.

Project One: Light, Airy & Effortlessly Inviting

Wrapped entirely in glass, this sunroom has quickly become the heart of the home. Our clients love it so much, they spend every moment they can here — morning coffees, late-night chats, and everything in between. The soft, ivory palette sets the tone for laid-back luxury, while sculptural pieces and layered textures keep it anything but ordinary.

Key design features:

  • Deep, cloud-like seating made for lounging.
  • A rattan-and-glass coffee table that brings a touch of the outdoors in.
  • Stone floors paired with a plush cowhide for textural contrast.
  • Orchids, leafy greens, and printed pillows that add playful polish

It’s calm, it’s casual, and totally captivating — a space that proves minimal can still feel full of soul.

Project Two: Emerald Tones & Moody Glamour

This sunroom tells a different story — one of drama, depth, and intimate glamour. Dressed in emerald velvets, glinting gold, and soft firelight, it’s where evening drinks and meaningful conversations unfold.

Key design features:

  • Deep green tones, warm woods, and gleaming brass.
  • Sculptural lighting sets the mood.
  • A flickering fireplace for a cozy ambiance.
  • Luxe accessories and bold floral moments for impact.

It’s a space that feels like a hidden gem — polished, personal, and perfectly designed for lingering.

Whether bright and breezy or dramatic and moody, a sunroom should reflect the way you want to live. These two designs show just how versatile — and expressive — these in-between spaces can be.

Which one speaks to your style?
